Conclusions

I learned that the identification of errors is important so that the student can develop the language properly. I think of using this experience of making the blog to emphasize the mistakes I make daily when speaking English and improve these mistakes, thus becoming a great professional. As a teacher I would implement tactics in the class to help my students no longer have errors in pronunciation, I would do tests every week. I learned that identifying these errors is something difficult and that happens to all of us who are learning an L2, doing the exercises is difficult because you have to think of all the possibilities so that the student feels comfortable when doing the exercises.

I liked identifying mistakes that I made or make when I speak English and it was wonderful to design exercises that help oneself. If I had difficulty looking for the error because there are many but one looks for the best option, it was difficult to think about designing the exercises because they are based only on pronunciation and brainstorming was difficult. But I liked working as a team, I feel that when we work like this we learn more of the English language, be it vocabulary and pronunciation.

Actually, I found this project a little complicated due to that I wanted to search from myself my erros to put them in the project since maybe my errors could be the errors of somenone else, and I could correct myself and help somenone if it´s had the same errors. When I become a teacher, I want to help my students to identify these errors and give them the resources to not fall into fossilization. Besides, I realize that I had some errors in some words and I improve my vocabulary, my grammar, and improve my pronunciation, my goal is be intelligible, I liked putting exercises because I learn too, the practice is always  an excellent tool.

When I started to see the error that Spanish speakers made I felt identified with them because I have made those errors all my life thinking that they were correct but they were not and these exercises that I created for students learning English that are Spanish speakers were helpful for me at the same time I think that this experience emphasized in pronunciation is one of the goals that I would like to achieve when I become an English teacher and be able to help people who find difficult to differentiate sounds in English until they can find it easy to pronounce the sounds correctly.

I learned how to position my mouth to make the exact sounds correctly such as long and short vowel sounds also designing exercises for error correction was the best part for me because when I was creating them, I was also learning to correct my errors, the way that I liked the most was to create two columns and pronounce words side by side and be able to recognize the differences.

In the beginning, I found it difficult to make differences between sounds that I considered the same but with practice listening to some audio many times, as a result, I became able to notice how to see and pronounce them in the correct way, in conclusion, I really enjoyed creating exercises that are worth for many people of all ages and help them by designing error-correction exercises finally, I hope that they can be helpful for everyone who visits the blog.

  1. Hello guys!
Besides the organization of your blog, I loved how you developed the activities, as well as they were pretty understandable and easy to follow, the way in which you explained why these errors occur; I would suggest to make it a bit more colorfull, I know black is a elegant color, but we are working with children.
    Best regards!

  2. Hi!
I really like the organization of the blog, it was easy to understand and to do the exercises. I will only suggest about the background color, maybe next time you could use another neutral color like white or beige. You did a nice work on this blog!
